Baked Pumpkin Donuts

You only need some simple store bought ingredients to make this recipe for baked donuts. The ingredients include 2 cups flour, 1 cup pumpkin purée, and 1 cup milk. Other ingredients include 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and 1 large egg.

Don’t forget 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp maple syrup, and 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice when making pumpkin donuts. All you need to do in order to make pumpkin donuts is combine  all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly.

Next, combine all the wet ingredients in a a separate bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined. The next step for this recipe for baked donuts is to carefully add wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and continue to whisk until thoroughly combined. Additionally you can use electric beaters instead of a manual whisk. Lastly fill the donut pan 3/4 full and bake them for 20 minutes at 350 degrees F.

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • ¾ cup milk (full fat)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup butter (unsalted, room temp)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  1. Start by combining all the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and whisk until thoroughly combined 

  2. In a separate bowl combine all the wet ingredients and whisk until thoroughly combined 

  3. Slowly add wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and continue to whisk until thoroughly combined 

  4. You can also use electric beaters to mix the ingredients of it’s easier for you

  5. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F 

  6. Pour the donut batter into your donut pans, fill them 3/4 the way up

  7. Bake for 20 minutes 

I love to baste these donuts with melted butter and then completely coat with cinnamon and sugar!
